Planning for climate crises

As well as year-end retrospectives, we’ll be seeing some pieces about the 20th anniversary of the 1998 ice storm, which began on January 5 that year. I have to admit, I have flashlights and candles (and know where they are) but I don’t think about most of the other things listed in the linked emergency kit, which apparently covers things like being stranded in a vehicle, not stuck in your house in the dark.
