Rosemont reservoir to finally open

By chance I found a link to the city page on the Rosemont reservoir. This massive reservoir, the biggest in the city, was originally built in the 1960s but never used. Since 2014, digging has been going on around Étienne-Desmarteaux park so that it can be put into service. In 2019, TVA visited the site.

It’s not as if anyone will notice much difference – water will continue to flow – but it makes sense for the city to have backup for something as important as potable water. Plus, they’ve spiffed up the park that sits on top of it.
