A $358M hole has been discovered in the city’s finances, and Projet has to present its first budget soon. As CTV’s piece says, “It is very common for governments of all levels to say that previous administrations have not been accurate about accounting and budgeting which make it hard to live up to campaign promises.” Valérie Plante is promising not to cut services.
